How to Load Inventory Issues using MaxQuickLoad™

Prerequisites

1. Duplicate the MXINVISSUE object structure.  See the Inventory Issue Object Structure section below.

2. Verify you are using the latest version of MaxQuickLoad.  The latest version is available from Download MaxQuickLoad.

Instructions:

1. Create a new MaxQuickLoad upload spreadsheet using the MQLMXINVISSUE  object structure.

2. Map the following columns.

  • SITEID
  • MATUSETRANSID
  • ITEMTYPE  (Set to ITEM or MATERIAL)
  • ITEMSETID (used if itemtype = ITEM)
  • ITEMNUM (used if itemtype = ITEM)
  • STORELOC (used if itemtype = ITEM)
  • BINNUM (used if itemtype = ITEM)
  • QTYREQUESTED  (used for Issues)
  • QTYRETURNED  (used for Returns)
  • GLDEBITACCT (use if issued to GL Account)
  • ASSETNUM (use if issued to asset)
  • ISSUETO  (use if issued to a person)
  • WONUM (use if issued to a work order)
  • SENDERSYSID (Set to MQL)
  • ISSUETYPE  (read only, leave blank)
  • ACTUALDATE (read only, leave blank)
  • CURBAL (read only, leave blank)
  • DESCRIPTION (read only, leave blank)
  • TRANSDATE (read only, leave blank)

3. Complete the upload to Maximo.  You cannot edit a transaction after it is uploaded to Maximo.  Use the RETURN transaction if you need to adjust an issue.


Duplicate the Inventory Issue Object Structure

To create an object structure to load asset meters, complete the following steps:

1. Open the MXINVISSUE in the Object Structures application. Click Select Action, then click Duplicate Object Structure.

2. Specify a name for the object structure, for example MQLMXINVISSUE.

3. Save the object structure.

4. In MaxQuckLoad click on the Data Load Definitions menu and add the MQLMXINVISSUE object structure.
